Book Synopsis: Gamblers Fight Back

37-year-old husband and father Greg Elder was determined to find a profession he was passionate about after walking out of a job that he despised.

After reading a book about a guy who dropped everything and moved to Las Vegas with only $6,000 to his name to become a professional gambler, Greg became inspired. The man went on to great success and continues to play even today.

This story inspired Greg so much that he was determined to see if he too could become a professional gambler and support his family. He ended up selling his only valuable assets which were pieces of a sports memorabilia collection that was supposed to be passed down to his daughter.

Book Gamblers Fight Back

This gave him the gambling bankroll he needed to begin. The only other person in the world that knew what was going on was his wife. They agreed that all winnings would be split 50/50 between paying bills and building the gambling bankroll. All losses would come from the bankroll and if the bankroll was completely lost the journey was over.

Over the next 12 months or so, Greg spent every waking hour studying, researching, memorizing, and practicing advantage gambling techniques. He wanted to learn anything and everything about advantage gambling and the casino industry as a whole. During this time, Greg uncovered why casinos are so profitable. The tactics they use to maximize their profits. He was determined to get this information out to gamblers everywhere, and show gamblers what they could do to combat against these tactics.

This is when Greg discovered a passion he never knew he had, writing. He began a blog on gambling and soon realized he wanted to get his message out on a larger scale so he wrote the book Gamblers Fight Back which was accepted by a book publisher.

Gamblers Fight Back will take readers through this journey and show them things they never realized about casinos and the gaming industry. Greg will show gamblers methods they can use to have a greater chance of being more successful in the casino. In fact, if you follow all of the principles laid out in this book you can actually have an advantage over the casino.

Join Greg on his mission to defeat the casino, and find out what he uncovered that goes way beyond gambling.

About Greg Elder

I was 37 years old, a husband and father, a former teacher, college and high school basketball coach, and a business owner, I decided to give it all up (Not the husband and father part) to take a shot at pro gambling. I was coming off a job I hated selling insurance, and I vowed to do something I was passionate about. For the next year I would spend 12-15 hours a day researching, studying, and practicing advantage gambling techniques. The goal was to see if I could sustain our current lifestyle as a professional gambler. I wanted to find out if casinos really could be beat. At the time, I thought it may be the biggest mistake of my life, but my intentions were to have fun trying. It has been an interesting few years since that journey began. My feature book GAMBLERS FIGHT BACK has been released and can be purchased on my author site at I would consider my pro gambling career to be a success on all fronts. I didn't win millions of dollars, but I was able to enjoy every minute of it. It brought an excitement and passion back into my professional life. It has helped lead me to a writing career that I had no idea I even wanted before this challenge. I was able to write a book that shared with others exactly what I learned along the way.. Gambling professionally is not easy, but there are certain things the average gambler can do to increase their chances of success tremendously. That's the information I try to pass along to my readers.
