Casino Gambling Radio at its Best: House of Cards

Finding valuable, entertaining, and informing casino gambling radio shows on national radio can be tough to do. I recently discovered the best up and coming nationally syndicated gambling show on radio—House of Cards. Hosted by Ashley Adams, this show covers all aspects of gambling and the casino industry. I had the real fortune to appear on the show which will be airing all week syndicated across the country.

House of Cards Radio Gambling Interview

We all know that when it comes to gambling talk, poker is king. There are several radio shows that do a great job exclusively covering poker. House of Cards has a strong focus on poker but includes much more about the gambling world.

I recently appeared on the show. Before I appear on national broadcasts, I try to send the hosts a copy of my two biggest books, Gamblers Fight Back and A Winning Gambling Strategy…And How To Get It! Most hosts skim through the books, but Ashley took the time to actually read the books and pick out the parts that he found most interesting for the interview. This makes for an intriguing interview instead of the same old scripted questions.

Gambling Book Gamblers Fight Back

  • It was obvious Ashley read Gamblers Fight Back, my memoir as a pro gambler.
  • For example, he couldn’t believe that I considered becoming a professional bowler (with no real experience) before pro gambling.
  • We talked about the fact that being a pro gambler isn’t always the glamorous job Hollywood portrays it to be.
  • He was curious how my wife responded when I told her about my plans for a new career as a gambler after I walked out of a job selling insurance.
  • It was a fantastic, insightful interview that anyone interested in gambling should enjoy.

Hope you enjoy it. A big thanks to Ashley and Dave over at House of Cards. Hope to be on again real soon. Let me know if you have any questions about the interview:

About Greg Elder

I was 37 years old, a husband and father, a former teacher, college and high school basketball coach, and a business owner, I decided to give it all up (Not the husband and father part) to take a shot at pro gambling. I was coming off a job I hated selling insurance, and I vowed to do something I was passionate about. For the next year I would spend 12-15 hours a day researching, studying, and practicing advantage gambling techniques. The goal was to see if I could sustain our current lifestyle as a professional gambler. I wanted to find out if casinos really could be beat. At the time, I thought it may be the biggest mistake of my life, but my intentions were to have fun trying. It has been an interesting few years since that journey began. My feature book GAMBLERS FIGHT BACK has been released and can be purchased on my author site at I would consider my pro gambling career to be a success on all fronts. I didn't win millions of dollars, but I was able to enjoy every minute of it. It brought an excitement and passion back into my professional life. It has helped lead me to a writing career that I had no idea I even wanted before this challenge. I was able to write a book that shared with others exactly what I learned along the way.. Gambling professionally is not easy, but there are certain things the average gambler can do to increase their chances of success tremendously. That's the information I try to pass along to my readers.
